Avonside Health Centre is based in Warwick. Our doctors & medical staff provide patients with the best possible healthcare services within the scope of our resources, in a caring, confidential and courteous environment.

We are currently registering patients who live in the Warwick or Leamington Spa area. Our catchment area can be found here.

Health Centre Opening Times:

8.30am - 6.00pm

Weekends &
Bank Holidays

The surgery is usually closed after 6pm and at weekends and Bank Holidays

Extended hours

Monday evening and Saturday morning appointments may be booked in advance

Staff Training 25th February 2016

Training for doctors and staff will be taking place on

Thursday 25th February from 12:30pm to 6:00pm

The Health Centre will be closed from 12:30pm to 2:30pm.

General medical advice can be obtained at any time by dialling 111 for the NHS 111 service. Telephone calls will be dealt with by the out of hours provider.

From 2:30pm to 6:00pm the Health Centre will be open offering a limited service for practice nurse and reception services and for emergency doctors' appointments.

There will be a 'book-on-the morning' surgery as usual on Friday 26th February from 8:30am.

All patients are allocated a named GP. You may see any of the doctors in the practice, but is a good idea to try to see your 'usual doctor' when you can, to maintain the continuity of your care.
